Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Working Hours: Part-time, 2 Days a Week

A vibrant and inclusive primary school, dedicated to nurturing young minds and creating a supportive environment for both staff and students are seeking a part-time Higher-Level Teaching Assistant. They are looking for a passionate and experienced HLTA to join our team, supporting Early Years and KS1 pupils in achieving their full potential.
Role Responsibilities
As an HLTA, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
- Provide support to pupils in Early Years and KS1, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist with classroom management and the preparation of learning materials.
- Lead small group interventions to enhance pupil progress.
- Cover classes in the absence of the teacher when required.
- Support the implementation of the school curriculum and learning strategies.
- Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to assessments.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Person Specification
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who:
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualifications.
- Has experience working with Early Years and KS1 children.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Is adaptable, proactive, and works well as part of a team.
- Has a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years/KS1 curriculum.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
