Are you a passionate and resilient Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs?
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Science Teacher to join a specialist independent school supporting boys and girls with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for the right candidate, starting in December.
You'll be working with some of the most vulnerable children in society, delivering engaging and accessible science lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence. The role requires a strong understanding of SEN and a commitment to nurturing each pupil's potential, both academically and emotionally.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly SEMH and Autism
- A calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour management
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
- Passion for inclusive education and a belief in every child's ability to succeed
