Cover Supervisor - Watford £110-£125 per day | Flexible, ad-hoc supply
We're looking for reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of schools in the Watford area on an ad-hoc supply basis. The role involves stepping into the classroom to deliver pre-set work, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the usual teacher.
This is a flexible position where no two days are the same - you may be working across both primary and secondary settings, covering different subjects and year groups. It's a great way to gain varied experience, develop confidence in the classroom, and support schools when they need it most.
The role will involve:
Supervising classes and keeping pupils on task with pre-prepared work
Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
Providing support to pupils where needed
Following school policies and reporting back to staff at the end of the day
We're looking for candidates who:
Have a DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply for one)
Are adaptable, confident, and able to work across different year groups
Can manage behaviour calmly and fairly
Are reliable and available at short notice
Drivers are preferred due to the nature of supply work
This is a flexible role that would suit anyone looking for regular supply opportunities without long-term commitment.
