Teaching Assistant Part-time | Ofsted 'Good' Academy | Mixed 11-16
Veritas Education is delighted to be working with a vibrant and diverse secondary academy in Middlesbrough to recruit a part-time Teaching Assistant for a long-term temporary position, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
This Ofsted-rated 'Good' academy serves around 1,200 students aged 11-16 and is known for its inclusive ethos, excellent pastoral care, and strong focus on academic achievement. Staff are dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students across a range of subjects and abilities, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote engagement. You'll work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality support tailored to individual needs.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has high aspirations for all students
- Is passionate about education and committed to student success
- Can build strong, positive relationships with young people
- Is proactive, flexible, and eager to contribute to a team
- Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- Has DBS on the update service
