Veritas Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Leeds to recruit a fully qualified English Teacher for an immediate start. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent. the school in question has a very supportive department in need of a new team memeber. collaberation across the department is encouraged and the team need a new face that is going to be able to bring ideas and work together with the department to creat engaging lessons and make a mark on the department.
Role Overview:
Teach English to KS3 and KS4 students
Plan and deliver engaging lessons
Support student progress and achievement
Work collaboratively within a strong English department
Requirements:
Full UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
Passion for teaching and motivating young people

- Experience
- Fully qualified in the UK to teach up to key stage 4, key stage five is advantageous but not necessary. At least 3 months experience in UK high schools. Strong behaviour and classroom management is a must.

- Degree within English Literature and or Language. P.G.C,E with Q.T.S in English All Q.T.S terms must be completed
