Teacher of Science - Full Time (Chemistry Preferred) Start Date: January 2026
Would you like to teach and discuss science with motivated students who enjoy learning? Are you excited by the opportunity to join a successful team of science specialists committed to continuous development and innovation? Would you like the chance to teach classes in the Sixth Form?
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science to join a highly successful and motivated department in an outstanding school. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). This is a full-time position.
The successful candidate will be able to teach Science at Key Stage 3 and preferably Chemistry at Key Stage 4 or 5.
Science is a very popular subject throughout the school. All students study separate sciences at Key Stage 4, and all three sciences are well-subscribed at Key Stage 5. Many students progress to university to study Medicine and other science-related courses, reflecting the strength of the subject in our Sixth Form.
This is an oversubscribed, high-achieving, coeducational selective school rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in October 2022. With a full team of subject specialist teachers, a rich and broad curriculum, and a wide range of co-curricular activities, the school offers an exciting and enriching educational experience along with many opportunities for career development in both academic and pastoral roles.
