About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher with QTS to join a thriving secondary school in Blackheath. This is an exciting opportunity to teach engaging and thought-provoking Psychology lessons at KS4 and KS5 levels.
The position is paid to scale and will be made permanent for the right candidate. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT with a passion for Psychology, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, dynamic Psychology lessons to GCSE and A-Level students
Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
Inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with department colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Specialism or strong background in Psychology
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (including during placements if ECT)
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
Commitment to professional development and school life
