Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a thriving secondary school? Veritas Education is working with a forward-thinking and supportive school in the Wakefield area, seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their dynamic team from September 2025.
???? The Role:
- Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons that inspire students and promote practical skills
- Support pupils' academic and personal development within a safe and stimulating environment
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Technology department to enhance curriculum delivery
- Contribute to extracurricular opportunities and school initiatives where possible
???? About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Specialism or strong experience in Food Technology
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising standards
- A creative and proactive approach to teaching
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
