- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.
- Track and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to both children and parents.
- Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to support children with additional learning needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and make progress.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a strong school community.
- Encourage pupils to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills through a variety of teaching methods.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent).
- Experience teaching within the KS2 age range (preferred but not essential).
- A passion for working with primary-aged children and helping them achieve their potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of each child.
- Strong classroom management skills, with a nurturing approach to behaviour.
- Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school and engage with the local community.
Why Join This School?
- A warm, welcoming, and inclusive school environment where staff and pupils thrive.
- Small class sizes (less than 20 children) allowing for more individual attention and tailored teaching.
- A supportive leadership team that values teacher development and provides ongoing professional development.
- A school with a strong community ethos, where your contributions to school life are truly valued.
