Job Title: QTS Performing Arts Teacher Location: Nelson Contract Type: Full-time, Start Date: ASAP start until Christmas 2025
We are seeking a passionate and creative Performing Arts Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Nelson for an ASAP start up until Christmas 2025. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and develop students across Dance, Drama, and Music, encouraging their artistic talents and fostering a love for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons in Dance, Drama, and Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Support students in developing their performance skills and artistic creativity
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to school productions, events, and extracurricular activities
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Performing Arts in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for the arts and helping students develop their creative potential
