Behavioural Support Worker - Secondary School (Leeds) Start Date: September 2025 Location: Leeds Salary: up to £130 per day Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only Agency: Veritas Education
Veritas Education are recruiting for a Behavioural Support Worker to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds this September. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting young people with behavioural or emotional needs and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
The Role:
Support students 1:1 and in small groups to manage behaviour and stay engaged in learning
Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies
Help create a calm, inclusive, and supportive school environment
Promote positive relationships and act as a role model
Requirements:
Experience working with young people with behavioural challenges (in school or youth/care settings)
Resilient, calm, and confident in managing behaviour
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive and compassionate approach
Desirable:
Team Teach or similar training
Knowledge of safeguarding and SEND
Relevant degree or qualifications in education, psychology, or youth work
