Science Graduate Teaching Assistant - September Start
Location: Colindale, North LondonSalary: £100-£110 per dayHours: 8:15am-4:00pm | Full-time, Term-Time OnlyStart Date: September 2025 (Trials commencing now)
We're working with a supportive and high-achieving secondary school in the Colindale area that is looking for bright, academic and friendly science or maths graduates to join their team as Teaching Assistants from September 2025. This is the perfect opportunity to develop hands-on classroom experience and make a real difference to students' learning.
About the Role:
You'll be working alongside dedicated teachers, supporting students aged 11-16 across a range of subjects. Your enthusiasm and subject knowledge will help pupils stay engaged and achieve their potential. The school is supportive and want you to succeed. There is also the opportunity for a permenant contract with the school after an academic year with them.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils during science and maths lessons or through targeted small group sessions
Help students grasp key subject content, boosting their confidence and progress
Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Collaborate with teachers to monitor and support student development
Contribute to a positive, respectful and inclusive learning environment
