Role Description:
We are looking for a passionate teacher to join a local school on a part-time basis. The role will involve teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class with the following hours:
Mondays: Morning only
Tuesdays: Morning only
Wednesdays: Full day
Thursdays: Full day
Fridays: Full day
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring students achieve their academic goals in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality lessons to a mixed Year 5/6 class.
Planning and delivering lessons that align with the curriculum.
Managing classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment.
Monitoring and assessing student progress.
Collaborating with school staff and contributing to the school's development.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience in teaching Key Stage 2, specifically Years 5 and 6.
A passion for teaching and commitment to students' academic success.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Flexibility and enthusiasm in adapting to the needs of the class.
