Primary School Role in Camden, North West London Start Date: ImmediateSalary: £2,200 - £2,500 per month Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm Full-Time Position
A welcoming and high-achieving Catholic primary school in Camden, is currently searching for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their Early Years team. With an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding,' this school is committed to providing young children with an inspiring and nurturing start to their educational journey.
About the Role:
This full-time Nursery Assistant position will involve working with children aged 3 to 5 years old. You will support their development through creative play, early learning activities, and personalised attention that meets each child's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and support play-based learning that is responsive to the interests and developmental stages of young children.
- Observe and track children's progress, contributing to early assessments and goal-setting.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and supportive nursery environment, ensuring children thrive emotionally and socially.
- Build strong and positive relationships with parents and carers, sharing updates and milestones regularly.
- Ensure a high standard of care and hygiene is upheld in the nursery setting at all times.
About You:
We're looking for a Nursery Assistant who brings warmth, energy, and a strong commitment to early years education. Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant or working in a similar Early Years setting.
- A clear understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and how to apply it.
- A team-oriented mindset with a flexible and proactive approach to daily nursery life.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.
