As an Early Years Educator, you will have the opportunity to work with toddlers and preschool-aged children, supporting them through their early developmental milestones and helping them grow into confident, curious learners. You will be a key person for a group of children, helping to create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where children can thrive.

We place a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and believe that children learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore the world around them. You will have a chance to lead exciting outdoor activities and support children's development through play-based learning in our beautifully designed outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities for toddlers and preschool children, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and supported.
  • Take on the role of a key person for a group of children, overseeing their development, tracking progress, and ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Foster a love of learning through play, ensuring that children are engaged and inspired in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Support children's social and emotional development by promoting positive behavior and encouraging independence.
  • Work closely with parents to keep them informed of their child's progress, achievements, and any areas of development.
  • Observe and assess children's development, contributing to developmental records and planning for the next steps in their learning.
  • Ensure the environment is welcoming, safe, and stimulating, following health and safety guidelines and promoting good hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a positive, supportive working environment and contribute to the development of the setting.
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
  • Previous experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children in an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and a passion for working with young children.
  • A genuine commitment to providing the best start in life for children and fostering a love of learning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both with children and parents.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment.
  • A proactive, flexible approach with a focus on creating a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • 28 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
  • Bonus scheme based on performance and team targets.
  • Unlimited access to training and continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance your skills and career progression.
  • Supportive and friendly team environment.
  • Opportunities for career development and progression within the company.
  • Access to company benefits, including pension scheme and employee discounts.
  • A strong emphasis on work-life balance and well-being support.
  • How to Apply: If you're passionate about early years education and are looking for a rewarding role with excellent opportunities for development, we'd love to hear from you! Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you're a great fit for this role.
