Are you a caring, reliable, and proactive individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Our SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) Secondary School for Girls in Camberwell is seeking a dedicated Midday Meal Supervisor to support students during their lunchtime period.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Supervise students in the dining hall and other designated areas during lunchtime✅ Ensure a safe, calm, and inclusive environment during meals and break times✅ Encourage positive social interactions and appropriate mealtime behavior✅ Support students with SEMH needs, ensuring their well-being and engagement✅ Assist with the setup and clearing of dining areas✅ Deal with minor incidents and support conflict resolution when needed✅ Work closely with school staff to maintain a supportive lunchtime experience
Who We're Looking For:
✔️ Someone with experience in schools or supporting vulnerable, SEMH students (desired but not essential)✔️ A patient and compassionate individual who can build positive relationships with young people✔️ A team player who can work effectively with school staff to promote a nurturing environment✔️ Willingness to obtain (or already have) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
