About the School: Veritas are proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our partner schools located in Hyndburn. The school is looking for a Key Stage 2 teacher to join their vibrant team on a part-time basis, providing PPA cover across the KS2 classes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Engage and inspire students, ensuring a creative and stimulating classroom environment.
- Provide tailored support to meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work closely with colleagues to support the school's ethos and contribute to its overall development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and staff to promote a strong school-community relationship.
- Participate in school activities and initiatives to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
What We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 and a solid understanding of the primary curriculum.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and dedicated approach to teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to suit the individual needs of students.
- A positive and collaborative team player.
