Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Batley. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified PE Teacher to inspire and motivate students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes physical health, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Engage and motivate students in a variety of physical activities, including team sports, athletics, and fitness programs.
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular activities, sports teams, and school competitions.
- Promote physical well-being, encouraging all students to participate and excel in physical education.
- Work collaboratively with the PE department and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching PE at secondary school level is preferred, but NQTs are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and a variety of sports.
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and committed to promoting physical activity.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
