Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our pool of talented educators in the Kirklees area. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a dynamic teacher with a deep understanding of the Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, Religious Studies, and other relevant social sciences. Whether you are an experienced professional or an enthusiastic NQT, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Humanities subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Differentiate learning materials to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional educational needs.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and critical thinking.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities subjects.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level is preferred, but NQTs are encouraged to apply.
