The Role: As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality Maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement schemes of work.
- Contributing to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities and events.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the Maths curriculum and best teaching practices.
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for an inspiring and committed Maths Teacher who has the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a passion for teaching the subject.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
- A proactive approach to lesson planning and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
